Application of Thermochromic and Photochromic Pigments in PET, Possible?

Application of thermochromic and photochromic pigments in PET is still impossible today. The fact that thermochromic pigments will decompose at temperatures higher than 200°C. Although our special know-how of masterbatch does allow thermochromic and photochromic pigments to keep stable up to 220°C, the usual PET processing temperatures are still much higher than 220°C.

Die Anwendung von thermochromen und photochromen Pigmenten in PET ist bis heute nicht möglich. Die Tatsache, dass sich thermochrome Pigmente bei Temperaturen über 200°C zersetzen. Obwohl unser spezielles Masterbatch Know-how es thermochromen und photochromen Pigmenten ermöglicht, bis zu 220°C stabil zu bleiben, liegen die üblichen PET-Verarbeitungstemperaturen immer noch weit über 220°C.
